Andriod Lollipop update for LG g2

Is Android lollipop update available for LG g2? If not, when will it be made available? Is it for free?

LG has released it but its up to your carrier when you get it.

your carrier, the company you buy airtime from (ATT, Verizon, Sprint to name a few US ones) takes the firmware from LG and modify it the way they want it and then "Release" it on their system for you to download via system update. If they never put one out you will never get it. This happened to me a few times before on AT&T.

If you want the firmware LG release you can often download it from them directly but you may have to root your phone to actually install it.

I can't understand how to install the lollipop update.Also, I already have my LG g2 rooted. So, will I have to use a different method for installing the update on a rooted phone? Kindly mention the complete procedure for installing the update on a rooted phone.

Sorry but I don't know anything about dealing with rooted phones. We'll have to wait for someone more knowledgeable to answer.
