android and desktop

after i connect the usb cable to my android phone to my desktop computer how do i go about getting the internet on my desk top. i'm computer stupid but learning !!!!!

Click on the Apps squares then the Settings cog. Under the Connectioin tab, select More Networks and go to Tethering and Hotspot. Under the Tethering (as in tied to a USB device) you can set up that facility.
