I have the M1 android motorola by boodt mobile. when i try to use the personal portal it tells me to log on on my computer using my ping address and use the pass code that it is on the phones page ....i hate this phone i bought this thing 5 weeks ago.

Its supposed to do that. Personal Portal is used to check your history/ read and view OLD SMS messages.
Ping address?

No, the phone should give you a link to visit along with a pass code. The link should be the Phone's Address on your personal network.
Nothing is wrong with you phone. Personal Portal is just a way to back your information up onto a PC.
I don't even use Boost mobile and I know this.
Just use Android Market to download a better app. Or just use your Data cable to backup your data.
