Android on Galaxy s2

i have bought a chinese version of the samsung galaxy s2 and the android version is in chinese, is there a easy way I can change it to englishe...Please help.

Most likely you could root it and install a custom rom on it, though hard to say if the english custom roms would work with that hardware the same, have you ever rooted a phone?

Can you be more exact on what provider you have?
If you do have a US edition you can change the Language of the system @
Settings>Language and keyboard>Select language>2nd option

To be exact it is a HDC A9100D. Android version 2.3.5 Everything is in english except the android, this has the android icon but chinese writing under it and when I click on it everything comes up in chinese. I also get some notifications that are in chinese.
I have it on optus but my reception isnt that good.

You could root your phone, although do a little reading to know the risks.
Try settings (menu button, wrench thing), language and keyboard, (the somethingth option *someone help!*)
