Android ROMS for SCH-I535

My galaxy S3 is getting a bit outdated and my plan will be getting a new phone in a few months so i wanted to play around with some ROMS. However i have no idea where to start. Ive been looking at CyanogenMod and ParanoidAndroid. However it seems ParanoidAndroid doesnt even support my phone. Ive found info on CyanogenMods's wiki about it but there's a few things that make me hesitant. Mainly the firmware notice. Anyway can someone confirm either of these ROMS will work on My smartphone? Its a Verizon Samsung Galaxy SIII, SCH-I535, Android version 4.4.2, and Kernel version is 3.4.0. Also any links to a good walk through/tutorial on ROMS would be appreciated.
