Is this info box something displayed by the TV itself, or only when playing YT videos?

While doing YT, hit the DOWN wheel once, the timebar and a few options will appear underneath it, now hit LEFT wheel until OPTION is selected, hit OK, one of the option items turns this info box off, I think it's the one on the far right. Geek Info I think they call it.
