antenna for bankers hill

Just moved to Bankers hill, with a balcony facing west, I need an indoor only antenna, any suggestions

antenna for what? What are you trying to recieve? Nevermind that, are people in an international forum supposed to know where bankers hill is? Or why that's relevant to your antenna choice?

Ill assume a general antenna since this has no info. Sick a piece of metal in the air and connect it...

ohh sorry i thought this was a San Diego Forum.
I live in San Diego, California, Banker's Hill Neighborhood.
Im trying to get cable for my HD television with an indoor antenna

I obviously don't know how to use these forums.

You're not going to get cable through any source other than your local cable TV provider. Assuming you meant you're wanting to get Digital TV broadcasts, pretty much any antenna will work for you. I doubt you would need to spend more than $25.

Go to http://www.antennaweb.org/ and enter your information (I just entered my zip code). This site will give you a general idea of what channels you're likely to receive.
