Any good laptop for $1000

Guys suggest me a good laptop for 1k. I would be using the laptop for like 5-6 years from now and will be using it for school work/ gaming and also I listen to music a lot, so, suggest me a good portable, good-looking, beast laptop in this range. I am looking forward to buy only HP, Dell, Asus and Lenovo laptops...

i was in the same budget i got lenovo y510p with i7 4700MQ 8gig ram 1tb hdd nvidia geforce 755m 2gig also u get option for ultrabay to put another 755m 2gig make it SLI also u get a red backlit keyboard i got it last month loving it.....

i am from india too y510p cost me around 73000k from a dealer....
u can also get a variant of y510p with i5 and all other spec same it will cost u around 63000 i guess....

well then come down to z510 comes around 57k , my friend bought that along with me , it has a powerful processor but the gfx card is 740m but still is great at the price...

I recommend you do a little homework first. You can do this at your public library.My first idea for you would be to ask a close friend with good computer skills to help you out.With that I think Apple would be good option to buy
