Solved! App to control ac with specified on/off times

Every night at 3 a.m. I wake up because I'm too hot and have to turn on the AC for half an hour in order to get back to sleep.
Is there an app that I can use on my tablet (which has an IR blaster) which has an alarm like feature that every night at 2:30 a.m. it turns on the AC for half an hour? Or any other specified time frames

this is something that should already exist because it's pretty obvious if you think about it, and I know a lot of people that would make use of it

You can setup a smart power plug or any plug with a timer to turn on at a specific time, but you will need to leave the AC on all the time so when the plug kicks off the AC turns on. Another thing, if the room heats up, why not just set the AC to kick off at a specific temperature? Very odd that you say at 3am it gets too hot, that is probably the coldest part of the day, it's well after sunset but well before sunrise to start heating things up.
