Question App to Test Mobile Data Network (not WiFi)

I'm not looking for a speed testing app but something that can tell me the quality of the signal of my carrier.
I've changed carriers recently and I have a feeling my old one is better for signal coverage but wanted to know if there is an app that would tell me some proper details?

Sorry, I should have been more specific.
The bars are great but I want something that has more detail rather than a simple picture of a bar.

If you are looking for "coverage" like you asked about in the first post, you will see that as you travel and the signal bar strength goes down in areas.
