App-V 4.6 starter guides

Hi. I've (under protest) been assigned to our App-V team to help out a guy whom I don't think is very good at App-V. Trouble is, I'm much much worse at it and consider it an abomination on the IT industry. That being said, I still need to learn the basics and hopefully enough so to complete the tasks set for the group.

Does anyone know a good starting guide that doesn't assume one knows everything about it in advance, or that assumes all programs run without middleware?

The obvious place to start would be at Microsoft's Desktop Virtualization center.

Appears my last reply was eaten by a vogon!
I am looking for third party guides as those from microsoft are usually quite useless. Too many words, not enough detail, and always neglecting to mention pitfalls and drawbacks. That being said, I am working my way thru the 4.6 trial guide, but I'm not expecting to be much wiser afterwards.
