pretty much everything else. Don't worry, they'll patent that and sue Android phone makers over it.

Well how about unlocking straight into the camera? They claim HTC stole their lock screen and other UI features, however this is something they are taking from HTC Sense 3.0 in Android phones.
[citation][nom]shmung[/nom]I thought windows 7 had unlock to camera first?[/citation]
Not 100% sure on this, but WP7 got this around june last year, Sense 3.0 had this back before April. Not sure who announced the feature between them first, but it's not a new feature by any means.
Any one notice that at least the iPhone 4S now reports "4G" next to the signal indicator?
Guess they figured if AT&T themselves can call a 3G network a 4G one, they can call their phone a 4G phone too.
"iOS 5.1 adds face detection"
Jane, your article is misleading. On iOS 5.01, the camera app on iOS has face detection (for focusing) on one face. Now iOS 5.1 add "face detection focusing" on multiple faces..
I like your articles, but this part is quite misleading.
Original wording on the iOS5.1 update message:
"Camera face detection now highlights all detected faces"
[citation][nom]eddieroolz[/nom]I wonder what ICS ripped off of other face-recognition mechanisms in place on many phones as far back as 2007.[/citation]
Android phones had face detection before ICS, besides something like "face detection" in cameras really shouldn't be a feature to fight over as any modern phone has it. Yes you are right about face detection being out before android and iPhone so I'm not sure how it's a rip off from either android or iphone.
Umm... Dictation and Diction are two different words meaning two different things (look it up in the dictionary if you don't believe me) yet the article uses it interchangeably in the first two paragraphs.
Does anyone proofread? That should be an easy catch.
