Because of apples draconian us or them attitude, several months ago I decided to adopt a similar one for my household and none of my kids are allowed to own ipads or other apple brand products anymore.

TBH this isnt even unexpected, nor is it anythign other than standered oprerating procedure/good policy.

Go to Asus and ask them if you can advertise EVGA motheboards on thier motherboard boxes, see what they say.

This isn't quite correct... In this case, denying products like that is where it starts to cross the line, not on free speech, but rather, antitrust issues.

Apple, like any other company, is not above the law, and the law prohibits using uncompetitive behavior. That means no restricting a market due to a monopoly in another market. Already, the US Justice department has been investigating unfair and anti-competitive, anti-capitalist practices that are rampant among Apple with their App store. I imagine it's only a matter of time before a court orders a breakup of Apple: the App store will have to be divested from the rest of the company.

The good news is that if it's entirely independent, everyone but Steve Jobs stands to gain.
