I’ve had my Airpods Pro 1 since Dec 2020 and have never had any issues with them. Noise cancellation has been awesome, they sound great and my battery life almost 4 years later is still pretty solid.

everything mentioned in this article about the defects my airbods pro gen 1 has every single one that was mentioned. I had purchased Apple care along with it. And when the problems started I called in to make use of the Apple Care and I was told it was the ear silicone inserts and that was what was causing my audio problems. Wrong! And now my care has expired and basically am screwed. It sucks bad because I don’t have $ like that to just go and buy another pair.

I had many issues with my AirPod Pro 1 connectivity, battery and noise cancellation that were luckily all covered by the Apple Care warranty. A couple months after the warranty expired I started getting the crackles in the right EarPod. Very frustrating. I’ll be keeping an eye out for the class action lawsuit.
