News Apple reportedly considering buying Intel as chipmaker continues to struggle

Why do you guys keep quoting hearsay from a known scheister? You know he gets paid to do this. Intel hasn't even spun off the fabs yet let alone mentioned selling. They have new server chips, new GPUs on the way and iGPUs based on older Arc tech.
Tom from MLID can erase all the video predictions that aged like milk he wants but most of us know better.
Besides, I'm interested in buying Intel if you'd like to write an article on it.
I could see Micrisoft as a partner before an Apple, Qualcomm or any ridiculous buy out.

Apple certainly is reliant on TSMC, being the company’s largest customer at 23% of its revenue.
That’s against the likes of Intel, Qualcomm, Nvidia, AMD, Amazon, MediaTek and Broadcom. Qualcomm being the second highest at only 8.9%.

But just say hypothetically Apple did acquire Intel, I don’t fully understand why they would. Considering they made a full move away from Intel several years ago. Though I assume the main benefit would be lower costs, since Intel does manufacture its own chips. A rare case in the semiconductor industry. Although as of recent it’s been outsourcing production to TSMC.

There would be national security concerns for any foreign company buying Intel(no pun intended), as much of the Western world's military depends on Intel chips and other IP. The US government already leans hard on the Dutch for ASML, and strategizes with Taiwan for TSMC, against Chinese chip making capabilities. Didn't you people read "Chip Wars"? Apple is American, but can you imagine legal concerns about the result of an anti-competitive monopoly? User "Moore's Ghost" appears to be correct, the source has completely fantastic and unreliable reporting.
