Apple is a corporation and corporations are more like a machine than a person. They have one goal and that is profiting to make investors happy. They will often even break laws if they feel the risk is worth it. I highly doubt that Apple has a anti-abortion stance and this was simply nothing more than a overlook in Siri. I highly doubt Siri will be the cause of any woman not getting a abortion simply because it could not tell them where to get one. If Apple was going out of their way to censor all information on abortions (except perhaps pro-life sources) on all devices and through every possible manner, then there would be a reason to have a fuss about this. Now, I am sure Siri will be patched to answer the question, all it took was bringing it to Apple's attention.

I greatly dislike Apple, but come on we need to be realistic.

Me: Siri, I need the nearest abortion clinic
Siri: Again? This is the 3rd time this month
Me: I don't have time for this, I'm going to be late for work and the baby is already crowning
Siri: In that case, I don't think abortion would be legal
Me: WTF??? I'M CALLING THE ACLU!!!
