Apple Watch Event: All the Details

I'm not an Apple fan by any means, but having a physical crown rather than relying just on touch is a (I hate to day it) master-stroke.

$15 for HBO is a deal. The writer saying it is "somewhat steep" doesn't apparently pay for it now if their cable/satellite bundle. I pay more than that in my Directv bundle ($18). I have been waiting to ditch Directv altogether for the HBO deal (will pick up Hulu, Netflix, and HBO) and save nearly $100 per month. So excited!

Antennas integrated into the aluminum chassis, force touch trackpad on top of an already the best trackpad and that build quality would be nice in a non-Mac laptop.

So this new Macbook Air is losing the MagSafe power port, 2 standard USB ports, Thunderbolt/Display Port and SD card slot just for one new 'reversible' type C port.

I understand style and like minimalism myself, but this is getting a bit extreme.
No ports - No sale, Apple!

The apple watch is pretty ugly compared to their older similarly sized objects.
I actually prefer the look of the ipod nano case/ watch strap better (back when everyone and their dog were making watch straps for the ipod nano) http://i.imgur.com/wv1RPUo.png http://i.imgur.com/VCLEccY.jpg

They should have just took that design and added the extra wireless connectivity and then made it into a dedicated watch.?

I guess I was thinking in terms of HBO Now being pricier than Netflix. I pay for HBO as part of cable and haven't cut the cord (yet).

I agree that the new MacBook makes significant trade-offs. You can see my more in-depth hands-on here. http://blog.laptopmag.com/apple-macbook-2015-hands-on I personally wouldn't want to give up SD Card slot.
