Through certain promotions or gifts, you may receive a download code for an app. Inserting this code will download an app to your iOS device.

- ■Turn on your iOS 8 device by pressing the Sleep/Wake button.
■Slide your finger to the right on the screen (screen with the slide to unlock text) to unlock your iPhone.
■From the Home screen, tap App Store.
■Once the App Store opens up, tap Featured (Star icon) from the bottom-left corner.
■On the opened Featured interface, locate and tap Redeem from the bottom.
■If/when Sign In to iTunes Store box comes up, provide the correct password in the available field.
■Tap OK to continue.
■On the next window, in the Enter your gift card or download code field, tap Code and type the appropriate gift code that you have received.
■After you have provided the download code, tap Redeem from the top-right corner to apply your gift.
■Once done, your iTunes account will update and you can purchase any item from App Store at the discounted price.
