Thanks. Although they’re not ready-to-use apps. Most of these require configuration, which is for geeky people.

you can host most of these alternative front-ends yourself or select an existing instance. Most projects offer an overview of instances, which you can then simply use.

You would only be able to access public info without an account, regardless of the tool/app you use. Otherwise, an account is required and even then you may not be able to access all info depending on the privacy settings of the desired content.
