There really is no good answer to give you, i can tell you that asus generally is known for making good quality components, but every manufacturer has lemons and bad times. I would say that you probably would be safe in purchasing an ASUS laptop if your looking for a solid built, quality device.

In general Asus makes good laptops, but they also make bad laptops. You need to focus on the various models you are interested in buying, then looking for reviews of those laptops (if any) to find out the pros and cons.
