I've seen a lot of buzz around bone conduction headphones lately, especially for running, swimming, and even cycling. I like the idea of open ear listening since it seems safer for outdoor activities, but I'm curious how they perform in real life. I've seen lot models like Drip-fly OZ5, shokz and others but i'm not sure which ones are actually worth buying. Has anyone used these regularly and can share hones experience?
Are they just a trend , or a good investment in 2026?
Thanks in advance!
J.

Yeah, this guide shows that bone conduction headphones have a lot of advantages like you can stay aware of your surroundings, and the open ear design is perfect for running, cycling because your ears aren't blocked but the thing is, I'm thinking of buying a new pair soon and since these are trending so i'm wondering if it's worth trying or not.
Has anyone had any bad experiences with them in real life, like discomfort, infections, or anything like that. Please share your experience it will help me to decide whether to go for them or not before i buy.
