Well, the second one you listed is a Macbook Air. Normally I'd say Pro >> Air. However, the main distinguishing factor of the Pro is the superior display (IPS, 100% sRGB, calibrated). IIRC, that particular year Apple cheaped out and went with TN panels on their non-retina MBPs instead of IPS. They are still calibrated with 100% sRGB, but they are TN so their viewing angles suck. I don't consider these usable for graphic design, photo, or video work (colors shift as you tilt the screen), which is kinda the whole point of buying a MBP.
The MBA use TN panels with about 60% sRGB. So again, not suitable for graphic design, photo, or video work. But people don't buy MBAs to do those things. They buy them for ultra-portability with a...
