Hi,

I recently bought a ASUS ROG GL552VW-DH71 Windows 10 Laptop and an ADATA m.2 2280 256 GB SSD SP900. I tried to install windows 10 on it, and everything works fine and boots fine. However, oddly enough, I don't see the SSD in the boot menu in the BIOS. I am pretty sure the ssd is being booted from, as the boot time is very minimal. Is this a problem at all? Is there any way to fix this? I have searched the forums and can't seem to find any solution.

The Bios menu only lists "Windows boot manager" and then in brackets the name of the HDD. There is no mention of the ssd :S

Another thing is, when I first got into windows after the fresh install of Windows 10, I noticed that my regular 1 tb hdd was not showing under "my computer". I had to go into disk management to get them to show up. Not sure if this is somehow connected to the other issue.

Thank you for the assistance!

Hi,

Here are some of my suggestions that may help in solving that problem.
1. Start by installing the latest BIOS Update
- Here's a link for the latest BIOS Update for your laptop (version 216)

2. Download the latest firmware update for your SSD.
- Here's also a link for the latest firmware update or the updater itself.

3. Do also install the SSD software that may help you calibrate or change some settings with it.
