ASUS K55A Boots but Black screen

My laptop would boot up but it has a black screen. The light on the screen still works and it can still be charged. Before this happened, the screen started spazzing out. I also noticed I can't hear the fan when the laptop boots up. What's most likely the problem and how to fix?
