Question Asus keyboard not working

The keyboard of my Asus GL553VD recently stopped working, for an unknown reason. A few days ago, it worked like 1 time out of 2 when I restarted it, but now it's completely unusable.

An external keyboard works perfectly fine
The built-in keyboard doesn't work even in the BIOS
There is no "keyboard" section in Device Manager
The ribbon connector doesn't seem to be the source of the problem
The keys LEDs are always on, even when the laptop is shutted down, except when I unplug the power supply

Is it possible that a program deleted the driver?

If it does not work in the BIOS then it's nothing to do with the driver. If you looked over the connections already then next step would be to replace the keyboard.
