I am planning to upgrade RAM (6gb to 16gb) in my laptop(asus N56vm-ab71) any suggestion please

Did anyone used PMI 16gb ddr3 1600 sodimm 204 pin cl11 memory.... for this laptop?

asus n56vm-ab71 works fine with 12gb(8gb+4gb) ram( ddr3 1600 sodimm 204 pin cl11) but not with 16gb(8gb+8gb)...shows black screen .....Individually all the RAM(4gb,8gb,8gb) are working fine... any idea how to fix this problem.....
