I had an issue where I couldn't get the laptop to boot to windows or even to get into bios. I checked the ram and had no issue so I figured it was the motherboard. I found one on the web and got it put in pretty quick. It did boot up however the screen didn't turn on. I plugged it into an external monitor and it worked fine. The old laptop was up and running. The screen still didn't work however the touch screen did. What I mean is that while plugged into the external monitor, I could use the touch screen to move the cursor on the external monitor. Not thinking, I set the laptop to reboot to UEFI which means now I don't see anything at all even with the external monitor. I have ordered a new lcd thinking that must be the issue but I could be wrong. Any thoughts? Thanks
