Need assistance replacing the screen assembly for the ASUS Q550LF (touchscreen).
Is there a similar ASUS model that may have a guide on replacing the screen (to use in replacing the ASUS Q550LF screen)?

Solution
Mine did not work, it acted like it was being touched everywhere, I had to figure it out or go without, I figured it out, Its simple enough to take apart.

Remove the bottom of the laptop, T5 torx screwdriver or... a tiny flathead filed down to fit cause I didnt have one... Once bottom is off the hinges are plainly visible.

Yes, that is MY Q550LF, I am certain. Notice the hinge says "N550JV-SL" I know that the Q550 and N550 share many of the same components, like the keyboard. So the N550JV screen may be a contender.

Remove the screws holding the hinges in place to make a little room for the black cover that goes over the wireless antenna, it slides to...

i never replaced it. i just took the glass off, disconnected the digitizer, put the glass back on still cracked. thats why there is no touch.
i have done a ton of research on this. every component inside this machine is labeled n550jv. the entire top tray/wrist rest/keyboard being one piece is stamped n550jv. the hinges for the screen, n550jv, list goes on and on. Also you can get the digitizer/front glass fir n550jv pretty easily. i.make no guarantee of anything. i put it out there, check it out. t5 torx is what you need to remove the bottom tray. you will see immediately.
im just gonna leave mine as is, picked up a new RoG stupid heavy laptop thats awesome. got the q550 as permanent media center to tv with hdmi now

Thanks!
I thought you actually replaced it.
I can find and order a new digitizer so I would try it. My only doubt is will it work without that glue holding it to the LCD screen.
You mentioned you actually had to peal digitizer glass from your screen. I'm not sure if that glue has some other function than just holding it on place with LCD...

I kind of over emphasized the care needed to peel them apart, I dont want anyone breaking their **** on my words, ya know. It isnt even really glue if I remember correctly, just the semi metallic tape. Not difficult and no other function other then place holding. The LCD is actually quite robust and takes some effort to damage (aslong as you dont be bending it) I was bored and tweakin in the garage, took out the LCD, made some hinges out of scrap tin, zip ties and electrical tape and mounted the LCD with wire and zip ties. Pretty interesting looking.

I even took out the webcam and taped it to an allen wrench for no good reason at all.

The Digitizer is attached to the glass in such a way as to make it unremovable. I even hit it with the blowtorch, hard, still could not separate them. Side note the fumes from the burning digitizer made my tongue numb, would not recommend attempting. Same with the bezel. The glass, digitizer and bezel surrounding the glass should all come as one piece, make sure of this because if they dont you are ****ed cause you will not be able to remove or use any of the old ones. As long as you got a little common sense and arent shaking like an epileptic having a seizure you should be ok doing it yourself. Have fun with it. Sorry it took so long to respond I thought I had, but I failed.

That are great news! Maybe mine will work than after I replace it. I believe I have found the right part on some Russian website.
It costs around 60-70 dolars and a friend would bring it for me so I would give it a try.
Here is the link:

Do you think this is the right part? There is only one picture so I do not know if this includes all: the glass, digitizer and bezel.
What do you think?

From what I see the numbers match and there are 2 connectors on the top that should be from digitizer.
