Asus r505c won't turn on when not plugged in

HELP! My laptop runs normally when plugged in. It says charging but still 0% after an hour. It also won't turn on if I plug it out. I need help on how to fix this.

Hi.

This seems to be a hardware problem but do try to run these troubleshooting steps that may help.
- Start by doing a hard reset, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then test it.
- If it doesn't work do also test your AC adapter and see if it's supplying enough voltage to power the laptop or try another AC adapter that has the same voltage.
- Also do uninstall/reinstall "microsoft acpi-compliant control method battery" from Device Manager.
- If all these will not work do consider replacing the battery of your laptop.
