I recently got the new laptop listed above, I am doing the normal removal of bloatware, I remembered that that i should install the new nvida drivers while i remember. I go into device manager and notice that there are two display adapters.

One is a Nvidia geforce GT 635M, and the other is a intel HD graphics 4000.

so my question is, can i just disable the on-board display adapter and the world will be fine, or am i going to have issues. I am running Win 8 on this laptop.

Thanks for the help

I would just leave it as is. The Intel HD 4000 is there to save you power. When not doing anything strenuous the HD 4000 will be used. When you start playing games then the GT 635m takes over.
