Question Asus Rog didn't turn on for 1 week but works fine now..any thoughts?

Hi guys,

I have a Asus Rog GL702VM and about a week ago when I wanted to power it on it didn't. I took out the battery and put it on AC, still nothing.
Today I was gonna sent it to warranty but I wanted to check again.. and it turned on. Possible issues?
More details:
The hard disk is making a wierd sound for the first 10 minutes when the laptop is on..but it has been doing so for the past 6 months. Could this be an issue? I have to mention that my OS is installed on my SSD so it has nothing to do with the HDD.
Or could it be that the CMOS battery went bad?

I'm hesitant to sent it to warrenty because I bought it from another country.. so if possible I would like to avoid that.
Any suggestions?

If it is under warranty still, it is best to let the manufacturer handle the problem then. If you open it up and try to do anything yourself, yo will void whatever warranty you have left, and could cost you quite a bit if anything needs replacing.
