Asus will not turn on

This has only occurred once. My laptop was charging and was at 3% while I was using it to answer an email, it than completely shut down and the light on the sides to indicate that it is on and charging have shut off as well. I have left it for 45 minutes to see if it just needed to charge some more but it still won't turn on. The battery is on the inside of the computer. How do I get it to turn on?

1)I would unplug it, plug it in to see if you get a charge light.
2) remove the battery and plug laptop in- attempt to turn on
3) put battery back in, make sure it is seated correctly and attempt to turn on (while plugged in)
4) maybe your battery charge cable is faulty and you need a new one.
