Question Asus X200M only turns on with battery

After a while sitting, I tried to use my laptop but after plug it in no signal of life, no lights, nothing. As my wife has the same laptop I switched the a/c power but still nothing. So I open both of then to switch batteries and it worked. However now with a/c plugged it shows a red led light and the laptop shows "plugged - charging" but it is not charging at all. If I remove the battery it shuts down right away. The red led light only turns on when the it's plugged in and the battery is inserted.

Either charger port or motherboard is bad if the charger is OK.

I think I found a bad resistor, unfortunately I just broke the wire on my multimeter and I going to buy another one later today so I can check
