Question Asus Zenbook UX3404 or UX3405?

Hi all,

Need some advise please. I am ditching my old Asus laptop and trying to decide between these two Zenbook models.

They both cost around the same (€1300 / € 1400) in my country so that is a non-issue.

The UX3405 has double the RAM (32GB n/e vs 16GB n/e), and a newer CPU (Core Ultra 7 4.8GHz vs Core i7-13700H 5GHz) but the UX3404 has a dedicated GPU (GeForce RTX 3050 vs Intel Arc Graphics). The UX3404 also has a slightly bigger screen (14.5" vs 14").


Everything else is just about the same the UX3404 is slightly heavier but not that bothered.

The 32GB ram is very appealing but so is the dedicated GPU.

I will be using the laptop for graphic and web design, as well as for general use.

i read the rtx 3050 is about the same as the rtx 2060.


i guess my question then is: is this difference worth renouncing 16GB of ram?

for graphic and web design should be good enough
and more ram the better for that too
