Hi there
Yes, I did. I have ensured I have updated, even tried restore point. Camera worked in the morning, then later nothing. I have checked security settings, app permissions, virus checker..... to no avail.
Please help, son needs it for online studies during this lockdown time.
 
Backup important data and be sure that you know all account informations/passwords

1st try: Reset windows with keep my files option

2nd try: Reset windows and remove everything

if this doesn´t work, it might be faulty

maybe the camera´s ribbon cable inside the laptop is not attached correctly anymore or broken or the camera itself is defective

You could get an USB webcam or use your phone as a second device
e.g. DroidCam Wireless Webcam app for Android
