This is funny, All I need in a 5 inch HTC EVO with a 1080p retina display, 32gb of on board memory, Micro SD 64gb card, HDMI 1.4a and an industry standard USB connection..... Why does Apple make this so diffcult? oh and to be able to replace the battery and mount the drive on your computer.

Has Apple not learned that 24 hours after the make a new device it is taken apart, put back together and the software is reverse engineered.

[citation][nom]lamorpa[/nom]Ah yes, the old 'AT&T doesn't have signal anywhere' It's fun to say, and popular! I use AT&T, not AT&Sheep like so many people who have 1) never had any other provider and therefore have nothing to compare their service to, and 2) never had AT&T service, but can't resist joining in the fantasy bashing. Dolts.[/citation]

I've never personally used AT&T, but have several friends that have made the mistake of signing contracts with them. All of my friends that have tried AT&T have all had the same complaints. Constant inability to make phone calls due to lack of signal. I watched a friend wander the parking lot at work trying to find a signal with the phone on several occasions popping up with the message "No Service"...that doesn't give me much a reason to waste my money on their service.

I've had both AT&T and Verizon Wireless for my cellular company (same town, so shouldn't be too much different.) I can attest to the fact that I get better service with my Verizon phone in the same location than I could with my AT&T phone. I live in Kansas City, and I'm not talking about dropped calls, just better reception, the difference between 1 bar and 4. I don't hear any difference between the two receptions though. Also, I never had a problem with having calls drop on me with either service. I left AT&T because they overcharged the hell out of us for our phone package.

Personally, I much prefer that my phone does it's primary job well and that is to send/receive calls. Everything else is gravy...besides, how many times have you had to surf the net while talking to someone???

I honey, [types on his laptop that he's ACTUALLY doing his work on and not random papers]

yeah i didn't forget our date [ doesn't wait ten minutes for a page to load on crappy AT&T 3G network because he's using his computer like everyone else on the planet who is at home/work]

ugh, stupid commercial, and i'm not even leaving AT&T to go to Verizon.
