Att data throttle

i know about the att data throttle but i just have several questions about it

1. are games and apps affected by the throttle

2. if you use wifi can you still use unlimited data

3. what are some activities that are affected by the throttle?

1&3: if they are throttling data usage anything that connects to the internet is affected. browsing, email, games, you name it.

2: by using wifi you are not using your 3g/4g connection for data meaning whatever total you download on wifi is not applied to your 3g/4g limit. if i had a 2gb plan i could download 500gb on wifi and 1.9gb on my 3g/4g and still be under the limit. you just have to make sure that you are on wifi. if your wifi gets dropped and the phone reverts to its radio you could go over and be billed.
