Got the mobile data to work which is great. Now I'm wondering if the software is able to be updated? In the settings it says Att software updates. Any ideas?

Solution
o update the software
Make sure your device has at least 16GB of usable internal storage.
Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
From the device home screen, tap Menu > AT&T Software update > Check for updates.
Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.

Solution
This will not work since the phone is no longer on the AT&T network and if the updates do not work, it will have to be brought back to AT&T, update ran, then move back to T-Mobile.
