I recently reloaded XP on my HP a250n, now whenever I play audio the audio slows and gets choppy every minute or two. It doesn't matter what the source is, grooveshark, wmp, songbird, youtube, it happens with each. It only stays choppy for a second and it doesn't correlate with any memory or cpu spikes. I've tried using a different sound card, I tried installing K-lite codecs (tested both mp3 decoders).
It may be unrelated but whenever I start my computer I get a .NET error: Unhandled exception... Conversion from string "<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//D" to type 'Double' is not valid.
