Audio issues please help

I'm not entirely sure where else to put this but i spent like 2 hours trying to figure this out. So every app i open is automatically set to 1 on the sound mixer and if i move it, it just resets back to 1 when i close it. Thanks in advance!

More information is needed. What OS are you using?

Any third party audio software of any sort?

Please be sure that when you change the settings that you "Ok" or "Save" any such changes. Easy to overlook especially if the button is on a scrolled window.

Must delve deeper: "every app"? Verify. Then, list the apps.
