Audio Output Switcher Ideas

I have speakers and headphones I use in my PC and am looking for a solution to have a switch I can use to switch between these, I want them both to be connected with a switch.

So do you want to be able switch between one or other, or one, or both.

They make these devices, look on amazon, ebay, newegg, anywhere online.

Your PC software can also toggle between outputs with no need to buy hardware.

You could also just connect headphones to front of PC when you want to use them, as most PCs will disable rear ports when one is plugged into front.

A cheap double pole double throw(SPDT) switch can be used to make a diy solution to this problem.

Seeing as you can buy them premade, that may be your best option if you are not the DIY type.

I think software would be my first option too however(and I have the switches are plugs needed to build one, just not something I need).
