Audio Technica m50x compatible cables

I was just wondering about the m50x cables, can i use any other cable other than the ones provided by audio technica or i have no choice but to use them?

I'd preferably buy 1st party cables for there sure quality, but others are fine too, as long as you can see good reviews for them. You don't want to be buying low quality ones.

I myself own the ATH-M40x's and bought a replacement cable from Audio Technica (1.2m) and they're high quality and durable.
