Audio through TV and Headphones

I am trying to set up a system where I can play music through my TV and a set of headphones at the same time. I would like the headset to be wireless and ideally play music through a soundbar. My main plan with this is to play music or youtube videos through my tv while I play on my electric drum set and I am not sure how easy this is. I have read things where this happens and the people don't want it to but I am not sure how popular it is to do both and tech is very new to me. Thanks in advance.

Keep in mind that when you connect your headphones....there is a good chance the audio coming out of the TV speakers will get disabled.

You will need to split the audio output of the TV.
One output goes to the soundbar. The other to a transmitter for the headphones.
Both need to have the correct type of input to connect to the same TV audio output.
If your drum kit has a headphone jack you could use a mixer to combine the TV and drum kit audio.
