A couple of weeks ago I finally got my LG smart TV hooked up. But since then, I have noticed that the audio is not in synch with the video on local news shows, ESPN, the Weather Channel, etc. This is not a problem when watching Netflix on the streaming service.
My system consists of my TV, a Sony sound bar, a Samsung blu ray player, and a Samsung HD cable box provided by Time Warner. "Everything" goes into the sound bar and then I have an HDMI cord going from the sound bar to the TV. I have an optical cord doing the same.
I did not have this problem with my dumb TV.
I placed a call to my cable company wondering if my cable box was "modern" enough to handle the smart TV and they said it was.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
