Audio with Apple TV and projector

Just bought an Apple TV which I connected to my benq projector. The audio is now coming out of the built-in speakers.... but I would like to have a better sound and connect it to my bose system.
I connected the benq with the Bose but no sound at all is coming out. What should I do? The Apple TV doesn't have a audio line out...

It may help to know what model projector you have.
