Avast or NOD32?

Solution
Thanks for your question Sandi, I'll leave it up to you and the community of course, to decide which product you like the best :)

I can tell you more about how Avast works and the features you'll get, even in our Free version. It has the same security backbone as our premium products -- file, web, and mail shields plus real-time behavioral analysis and CyberCapture for detecting zero-day malware. You would then have the option to upgrade for more security features and add-ons, but Free will always be free.

Here are links that reference the points I mentioned:

Good luck in your search...
Don't pay for AV or FW protection - not while effective & free alternatives are available.

My recommendation: Comodo AV, or Comodo Internet Security if you want a combined AV + FW package:

https://www.comodo.com/

More configurable, more comprehensive & more effective than any other free AV/FW available today, it even beats many of those you have to pay for.

Hi! Will Avast clash with ESET NOD32? I already have an older version of NOD32 and I am a-technical enough to not be able to uninstall it... however, my licence expired ages ago, so I would love to get rid of it. Until I can find someone to safely uninstall NOD32 for me, would it be OK to install Avast Free? Thank you in advance! :)
