Awia speaker wires are exposed on ends but the back of the main unit looks like it only can receive component type wiring. how

Black wires coming off back of awia speakers are coated until the end which has 2 exposed wires.

Can you be little bit more specific what you are trying to achieve?
YOu have a speaker (or pair), with two-wire speaker wire with exposed end. You need an amplifier or receiver to power them.

What make/model is your "main unit"?
