backing up apps

Solution

What OS are you refering to?

If Windows, no. There are many ways to back things up, but not "apps/programs" alone.

what about this https://www.easeus.com/free-pc-transfer-software/

Why not download it and try whether it works for yourself?
Most of these "transfer applications" support very limited set of applications and versions they know about.

Have you looked at the very short list of supported applications?
If not, here ya go:

i am forced to reinstall win10.
i backed up my files and was hoping there was a way for apps

There is no magic dust you can sprinkle to do that.

This is where a good backup routine comes into play.
A full drive image, made before the incident occurred, would return the whole system to how it was when you made that image.
