backlit keyboard times out

I purchased Acer E 15 because it was a good price point with a backlit keyboard. but the lights go out after 30 seconds . How can you keep them on longer? So frustrated I may return this. Any help?

I know of no way to change it to stay on all the time. Some brands have that option, but as far as I know Acer doesn't.

One thing you could 'try' to see if it will allow them to stay on would be the power saving features. It has worked for some and not worked for others, to turn off the power saving features of the laptop. However, just remember doing so will make the battery drain faster.
