Bad idea powered speakers into amp?

I have an old Logitech LS2.1, it has a built in amp in it, and I wanted the output from the subwoofer to go into my new amp and then from the amp to my speakers. The Lepai lp-2020a+ is this a bad idea?

If the sub had a line out that just passes the info along, you could do that. Why don't you give some more info and explain what you are trying to do.
I assume you bought some new speaker and want to use the sub with them?

to me it sounded like they wanted to double amplify the original pc speakers which would likely blow them.

Sorry I was unclear. I just wanted the lower range frequency from the sub. My speakers only cover 70-20Hz, while the sub covers a lower range. I don't believe the line out on the sub is info only.
